About Richard Hudnett

Prior to working as the Assistant Director for Nova Southeastern University, I have worked for several Fortune 500 companies, including Walt Disney World, Reebok, Ecolab, DHL, and UPS in various capacities, such as management, sales, and marketing, and I was a key member of countless strategic marketing teams for global events.  Over the past six years in my current position, I have been extremely fortunate to assist thousands of students pursue their academic goals at various levels and within numerous fields of study. As the Assistant Director at Nova Southeastern University’s Orlando campus, I am fulfilling my professional aspirations by working in the field of higher education and helping others grow personally, academically, and professionally.  In 2009, I completed my Master’s in Business Administration and recently achieved my own academic aspirations by earning a doctoral degree in Education. The title of my research and Applied Dissertation for my doctoral degree is “Understanding the Admission Experience of Admitted Students Who Fail to Enroll: A Multiple Case Study,” which aligns with my passion to better serve students by exploring opportunities that can improve their overall college experience.
