Dr. Renjini Lalitha is a Neonatologist and Assistant Professor at Western University, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. She did 3year fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Western University (July 2013-June 2016) followed by 2.5years of Targeted Neonatal Echocardiogram fellowship at University of Alberta (Nov 2017- June 2020).     

Dr.Lalitha is the lead for Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) education program and co-lead for the Targeted Neonatal Echocardiography Program (TNE) at the London Health Sciences Center-Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  Dr.Lalitha’s area of research interest revolves around application of different modalities for assessing hemodynamics during transitional period, pulmonary hypertension and exploring the role of TNE/POCUS in BPD prediction and prevention. She also is interested in exploring the application of POCUS in predicting preterm brain and gut injury.
