I am currently Associate Dean for Graduate Programs and Research and Union Pacific Professor in Information Systems in the College of Business at Iowa State University. I received my MS and Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems from the University of Miami. I teache IT management strategy, electronic commerce, and information security management at graduate and undergraduate levels. My research primarily focuses on the impact of IT on organizational strategy, culture, security, and performance. My research work has been published in leading academic journals including MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of the AIS, Communications of the ACM, California Management Review, Journal of Management Information Systems, IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, European Journal of Information Systems, and Information Systems Journal. I have served as special issue associate editors for MIS Quarterly and European Journal of Information Systems many times.
