I was born in Chicago, lived for extensive periods in Montana (where I received my MFA in Creative Writing) and Hawaii (where I received my MLIS in Library and Information Science). I have worked in the Library and Information field since 1993. I am currently Special Collections librarian at Western Washington University in Bellingham, and active in local creative writing projects.
