About Patricia Clark

I'm the author of four books of poetry, including Sunday Rising, published in 2013 by Michigan State University Press. Previous book titles are She Walks Into the Sea (2009), My Father on a Bicycle (2005), and North of Wondering (1999; reprint 2003). I have also co-edited an anthology of American women writers titled Worlds In Our Words, which came out in 1996 from Prentice Hall. Individual poems have appeared in The Atlantic, Slate, Poetry, Kenyon Review, The Gettysburg Review, The Seattle Review, The New Criterion, New England Review, and many other literary magazines. I've been teaching at Grand Valley State University since 1989. I also coordinate Poetry Night, part of the Fall Arts Celebration.
