About Patricia Carl-Stannard

  • Patricia Carl-Stannard MSW, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) is Clinical Associate Professor of Social Work at Sacred Heart University. She has also served as Interim Chairperson of the School of Social Work for a period of time ending July 1, 2021. She teaches and coordinates student intern field placements. She also has a part time private practice treating children, adolescents and adults in individual, couples and family treatment. Her areas of expertise include: anxiety, depression, life adjustments, bereavement, OCD-Hoarding, parenting skills, school and court consultations. Professor Carl-Stannard also has a special interest in the interplay between mindfulness, spirituality and daily experiences.
