About Padma P. Tadi Uppala

My research investigates the contribution of environmental factors to breast cancer. I have studied the role of DDT as a promoter in breast carcinogenesis. Current projects include (1) studying protein profiles of breast cancer serum samples for biomarkers, and prevention of the disease through dietary and lifestyle modifications (2) study the role of insulin-like growth factor binding proteins in estrogen receptor negative breast cancers and their link to obesity, diabetes and breast cancer.
