Nayo S. Williams, MD, MSc, FACOG is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who brings the latest clinical knowledge in caring for her maternal-fetal medicine patients. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and completed both her medical degree and OB/ GYN residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Jersey. She furthered her training at UConn Health where she completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine while simultaneously obtaining her Master of Science degree in clinical and translational research. Dr. Williams is a natural leader and earned several leadership awards and roles — including administrative chief resident — throughout her education. She is passionate about teaching and mentoring others. Dr. Williams has also served as a reviewer of medical journals and presented clinical research findings at numerous medical conferences on topics such as racial disparity in maternal outcomes. Her professional memberships include the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and International Society for Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the National Medical Association.
