About Nayha Acharya

Nayha Acharya completed her LLB at the University of Alberta, then articled and practiced at the Edmonton law firm Reynolds, Mirth, Richards and Farmer. She has been part of the Schulich School of Law community since 2011, when she arrived to pursue graduate studies, earning an LLM in 2012 and a PhD in 2017.

Current research interests include alternative dispute resolution, civil procedure and procedural justice, legal theory, dispute resolution, and medical negligence. Nayha has also taught Civil Procedure, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Introduction to Law, and Law and Ethics at our law school.
