About Natashia Seemann

Natashia Seemann is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at Western University, and a pediatric surgeon at the Children's Hospital (LHSC).

Dr. Natashia Seemann completed her undergraduate and medical education at Western University. She subsequently completed her General Surgery residency at the University of Toronto where she completed her Masters of Science, Specialization in Surgical Education as well as the Surgeon Scientist Training Program and the Clinician Investigator Program.

Dr. Seemann completed her Paediatric Surgery Fellowship in Halifax at the IWK Children’s Hospital, Dalhousie University.

Dr. Seemann joined Western University, Department of Surgery as Assistant Professor and Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Center as staff paediatric surgeon in October 2020. 

Her areas of interest include:  Pediatric surgical oncology, IBD, surgical education, sociocultural issues in surgery.
