Dr. Nasim Sabah currently holds a Chase Bank Endowed Professorship and is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the College of Business at Louisiana Tech University. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance from Texas Tech University in 2019, after completing his M.S. in Finance at the Barcelona School of Economics and an MBA from the University of Dhaka. He also holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Dr. Sabah has a notable list of publications in esteemed finance journals, including but not limited to the Journal of Financial Economics, Global Finance Journal, Economics Letters, and Finance Research Letters. His research covers a wide range of topics, from the impact of cryptocurrency on financial markets to the efficiency of stock prices and more. Dr. Sabah's current research extends to various working papers that delve into areas like asset pricing, labor finance, and market microstructure.
