About Monika Antonelli

Monika Antonelli a professor, reference and outreach librarian at Minnesota State University, Mankato, Minnesota.  She received her Master of Library Science and Master of Drama from the University of North Texas.  She has played an instrumental role in the library profession advocating, researching, and writing on the topic of sustainability and libraries.  She served on American Library Association’s Implementation Team for Sustainability, which led in 2019 to Sustainability becoming a core value for libraries.  Professor Antonelli is the co-editor of the 2012 book, Greening Libraries.  A second co-edited book, Sustainability and Libraries (working title), will be published in 2021.  She is also currently serving as a peer reviewer at UCLA Library’s Green Library Journal.
