Dr. Minel J. Braun has obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the Carnegie-Mellon University in Pitttsburgh. He immediately joined the mechanical engineering faculty in 1979, and reached the rank of Full Professor in 1989. In 2008 he was awarded the university wide rank of Distinguished Professor.
