Michael Carr's research and teaching covers a broad range of topics on labor market structure, workplace democracy, and job quality. His recent work uses experiments and surveys to investigate the effect of worker autonomy in the workplace on job satisfaction, worker performance, and firm performance. Currently, he teaches Microeconomics, Labor Economics, and Behavioral Economics.
