About Michael Hoffman

Dr. Hoffman is Adjunct Professor of Taxation at the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship, Nova Southeastern University. Before joining NSU in 2007, he was a Professor at Florida Atlantic University (1989-2007) and an Associate Professor at Louisiana State University (1981-89). While at FAU, Dr. Hoffman served as Director of the School of Accounting (1995-98).

Dr. Hoffman has an extensive record of publications in the area of Federal taxation. His current research interests are in the areas of financial planning, retirement planning and estate planning. Dr. Hoffman’s teaching experience spans most of the technical areas of Federal taxation—individual taxation and taxation of corporations, partnerships and fiduciaries.
