About Meg Warren

Meg Warren, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management, College of Business & Economics at Western Washington University. She is an organizational psychologist and earned her Ph.D. at the Claremont Colleges. She is a founder of the Western Positive Psychology Association (WPPA), and was the Founding President of the Work and Organizations Division of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA).
Her research takes a positive psychology approach to workplace diversity, equity, and inclusiveness. This has led to two streams of research - 1) cultivating dominant group allies who support and advocate for marginalized group members, and 2) fostering the well-being of marginalized groups across the world. Her research has led to collaborations in Africa, Middle East, Fiji, China, and South America. Her work has led to several publications including peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and presentations at numerous conferences. She is the lead editor of two books, Scientific Advances in Positive Psychology (2017), and Toward a Positive Psychology of Relationships: New Directions in Theory and Research (2018). She serves as a Co-Editor of the International Journal of Wellbeing, and is on the editorial boards of the journals, Cultural Diversity and Ethnic Minority Psychology, Frontiers in Psychology, and Middle East Journal of Positive Psychology, publications of the International Positive Psychology Association. Dr. Warren teaches courses on Organizational Behavior and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Organizations.
