About Meg Warren

Meg Warren, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, College of Business & Economics at Western Washington University. She is an organizational psychologist and earned her Ph.D. at the Claremont Colleges. She is a founder of the Western Positive Psychology Association (WPPA). Previously, she served as the Director of the MS in Human Resource Management program at Claremont Graduate University, and the President of the Work and Organizations Division of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA).
Her research focuses on workplace diversity, inclusiveness, and well-being of marginalized group employees. She approaches these topics through the study of empowering work relationships and organizational virtuousness. She also examines cultural factors affecting well-being of marginalized groups and actively works with collaborators in Africa, Middle East, and South America. Her work has led to several publications including peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and presentations at numerous conferences. She is the lead editor of two books, Scientific Advances in Positive Psychology (2017), and Toward a Positive Psychology of Relationships: New Directions in Theory and Research (2018). She serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies and the Middle East Journal of Positive Psychology, and has served as a reviewer for numerous journals and conferences. Dr. Warren teaches courses on Organizational Behavior and Managing Cultural Diversity.
