About Mary Grace Antony

Mary Grace Antony (Ph.D., Washington State University, 2010) is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Communication Studies department. Her research engages the nexus of globalization, intercultural communication, and new media discourse. Her current research agenda primarily focuses on child refugees and migrants, including the extent to which existing procedures and policies can be amended to promote cultural adaptation and mitigate culture shock. She is also the author of Audience Responses to Real Media Violence: The Knockout Game (Lexington Books) and co-editor of Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Child Migrants: Seen But Not Heard (in print, Lexington Books).
