About MaryAnn Hogan

MaryAnn Hogan is a full time Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her area of clinical specialty is adult health nursing, which she has taught to senior nursing students in both the traditional undergraduate and second bachelor tracks. Her clinical nursing background, in addition to medical surgical nursing, is in critical care and neuroscience nursing. She is the series editor of the 12-book Nursing Reviews and Rationales series for Pearson Education, and 2 comprehensive nursing review books, one for the NCLEX-RN® and one for the NCLEX-PN® licensing examinations. She has expertise in item writing for high-stakes nursing examinations. She teaches NCLEX-RN® and NCLEX-PN® review courses in the New England area. She is President of Nursing and Health Education Resources, Inc. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Massachusetts Association of Registered Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau International, and the Eastern Nursing Research Society.
