About Mary C Trejo

Thank you for visiting my research page. I had the honor of serving as Director of the UTEP Forensics Program from 1984 until my retirement in 2018.

My research interests include forensics pedagogy, communication education, diversity issues, and cultural studies. In 1992 I was one of 22 educators in the nation selected to serve as a Rockefeller Brothers Fund Mentor to a Minority Fellow, who was a member of my forensics team. My scholarly activity includes service as an Associate Editor of Argumentation & Advocacy, the journal of the American Forensic Association, and coordination of an AFA-funded national survey on diversity in forensics.
