Director of Administration, Welch Divinity School
Dr. Sheldon is active in both the church and the academy. He has pastored churches in Tennessee and Virginia. He studied Bible and Pastoral Training at Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville, TN (now Welch College in Gallatin, TN), earning the BA in Bible and Pastoral Training in 1987. He and his wife then moved to Lynchburg, VA where he studied at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, earning the M.Div. (1993) and Th.M. (1998). He pursued a doctorate at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, earning the Ph.D. in Biblical Studies in 2012. Dr. Sheldon currently serves as Director of Administration with the Welch Divinity School in Gallatin, TN.
