This paper addresses issues regarding Black Swan events, which are a special type of risk. The paper proposes that Black Swan events demand a different risk approach than conventional risk techniques, due to their challenging probability make-up, and proposes that bow-tie schematics can still be useful, if reconsidered for conditions of high uncertainty.
