About Marion Leaman

Marion Leaman, MS CCC-SLP, is an adjunct professor of Speech Language Pathology in the College of Health Professions at Sacred Heart University. Professor Leaman is the Director of The Talk Spot Center in Southport Connecticut where she specializes in working with adults with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders, including Stroke/Aphasia, Traumatic Brain Injury, Parkinson's Disease, Accent Reduction, Voice Disorders, Transgender Voice and Communication, and Dementia. She is also a Ph.D. candidate in Speech Language Pathology at The Teachers College at Columbia University.
She has Advanced Certification in Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT) for Parkinson's Disease & Neuromuscular Disease and Certification in Compton - Pronouncing English as a Second Language (Compton-PESL).
