About Marilyn DiFeliciantonio

Marilyn DiFeliciantonio spent many years as an educator before her graduation from the Hahnemann University Physician Assistant Program in 1989. She brings to the program a clinical background in Correctional Medicine, Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation. During her many years as a clinician with the Department of Neoplastic Diseases at Hahnemann University Hospital she also took part in various research studies in the field of cancer treatment.
Her interest in education and knowledge of the field of Oncology led her to be a lecturer on that topic for a number of Physician Assistant programs in our area. Her prior experience as a clinical preceptor for senior Physician Assistant students, medical students, and post-graduate residents adds value to her role as one of our clinical coordinators. Her interest and involvement in community education has led her to being involved as a professional speaker for the American Cancer Society and a number of women's groups on the topic of breast, ovarian, and other cancers. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. She is a nationally board certified Physician Assistant and currently licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania.
