About Madison A. Krall

Dr. Krall’s publications speak in diverse but interconnected ways to her interests in health and science communication, rhetorical history, gender studies, and the media. Most recently, she published a lead-authored article in the journal Public Understanding of Science that explores twentieth-century representations of science as they appear for lay audiences on postage stamps from around the globe. She also has published co-authored articles in the Quarterly Journal of Speech, Health Communication, Science Communication, and Management Communication Quarterly. Dr. Krall’s conference papers have been recognized with top paper awards from the National Communication Association, and she is currently serving as secretary for the Association for the Rhetoric of Science, Technology, and Medicine. Dr. Krall holds a Higher Education Teaching Specialist Certificate and an Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Gender Studies.
