Abstract

IDEA 2004 requires that each local education agency provide a Summary of Performance (SOP) to exiting special education students. This session will share an array of practices that schools can implement to make the SOP useful for documenting the need for accommodations in postschool settings, enhance self-determination skills, and foster improved adult outcomes.
