Abstract

This session will help participants understand the difference between IDEA and Section 504, how to align high school accommodations with those available in college, and how to promote student independence. Other topics include providing students with college-appropriate academic skills, preparing the student for postsecondary technology expectations and preparing the documentation necessary to gain access to college-level disability services.
