About Lubomir P. Litov

Professor Lubomir Litov is the Michael F. Price Professor and an Associate Professor of Finance and an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Oklahoma’s Michael F. Price College of Business (the latter appointment by courtesy at the College of Law). He has previously taught courses in finance at the New York University’s Leonard Stern School of Business, the Washington University in St. Louis’ Olin Business School, and the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management. He holds both master’s and doctorate’s degrees in business administration (economics) from the Stern School of Business of the New York University. Prior to his academic career, Professor Litov has worked as investment banker in the mergers and acquisitions division of Bank Austria Creditanstalt Investment Bank AG, Austria. Professor Litov has published articles in top-rated finance and accounting journals such as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Accounting and Economics, Management Science, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, among others. Professor Litov’s expertise includes, among others, the topics of mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, investment banking, and corporate valuation.
