About Lindsay King

In the Robert B. Haas Family Arts Library at Yale University, I oversee public services--including reference, instruction, outreach, and digital services--for students and faculty in Yale's Schools of Art, Architecture, and Drama, the Department of the History of Art, the program in Theater Studies and Dance, and interdisciplinary scholars across campus. Before coming to Yale, I worked in the art library at Northwestern University Library and in museum education at the Art Institute of Chicago. I am a fellow and college adviser in Morse College at Yale and a mentor through the iSchool at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I review books on art history, fashion, and museum studies for various publications. My current research interests include art collecting and patronage, fashion history, and applications of digital humanities methods in the visual and performing arts.
