About Linda L. Cook

Linda L. Cook, DNP, APRN, NNP-BC, CNL, is Clinical Assistant Professor and Program Director for the Clinical Nurse Leader Track in the College of Nursing at Sacred Heart University. Dr. Cook has been in practice as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner since 1990. She joined the nursing faculty of Sacred Heart University as a Clinical Assistant Professor in 2011 teaching in both the Undergraduate and Graduate online programs. 

Dr. Cook earned her BSN at Ohio State University, her MPH at New York Medical College and DNP at the University of Connecticut. Her professional and research interests include neonatal care, obstetrics, pediatrics and the Clinical Nurse leader. Dr. Cook is a Certified Clinical Nurse Leader, Certified Online Teaching from the Sloan Consortium (Online Learning Consortium), has a Certificate in Nursing Education from University of Connecticut, is a Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and Certified Neonatal Nurse (American Academy of Pediatrics). She is a Certified Instructor Neonatal Resuscitation Program, is Certified in Baby Friendly Initiative, and has NIDCAP Certification, and Certified in Newborn Individualized Development Care and Assessment Program.
