Leyna Clarke is a Research Fellow in ACER’s Tertiary Education Research Program. Leyna has managed and contributed to a wide range of projects in the higher education sector. This includes large-scale student surveys such as the Australian General Practice Training Program National Registrar Survey (AGPT NRS), the Japan University Experience Survey (JUES), and the International Graduate Outcomes survey (IGOS).

She has contributed to several quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods case studies around alumni outcomes, as well as annual global surveys. Her work with social network analysis has provided the Facility with a new method to observe the effectiveness of the awards to build alumni networks.

Leyna has also contributed to work around promoting regional universities to international students, creating a framework for assessing university capacity for supporting regional and remote students in their transition to study, and a ranking system for student equity.
