About Laura Burney


Professor of Law at Saint Mary's University, has written extensively on oil and gas law issues, and is a frequent speaker at conferences for attorneys and other professionals in the oil and gas industry. She began teaching at St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1985, and was the Albert and Helen Herrman Professor of Natural Resources Law from 1993 to 2004 when she returned to private practice.
