About Lance Fung

Lance Fung is a renowned international curator of Contemporary Art. His exhibitions span interior museum shows, projects with the Venice Biennale, and SITE Santa Fe Biennial with the bulk of his practice presented in the public space. Fung’s work concentrates on current events with relevant content and has led the way for inclusivity. His work illustrates the value of art and culture but in a mindful way. Most recently, Fung curated the first exhibition for a G20 summit in Bali, 2022. With social and environmental concerns at the forefront of the exhibition, Fung realized a block buster exhibition for the political and business leaders through a responsible process. Works were created from recycled materials and all onsite with artists working with him remotely to leave an extremely small carbon footprint, something uncommon for biennials and museum block buster shows.
