I am a first year Ph.D. student in the Department of History at Binghamton University. My research focuses on the intertwined histories of slavery and settler colonialism in what is now Ontario, Quebec, and upstate New York in the eighteenth century. I am also currently working on a digital mapping project outlining a critical narrative of the land theft, racial violence, and class conflict that defined the early white settlement in Broome County, NY.
