About Krista Anderson, MSN, RN, CHSE-A

Krista Anderson is a Certified Health Care Simulation Educator-Advanced (CHSE-A) with over twelve years of experience developing, facilitating, and evaluating healthcare simulation-based methods/techniques. She has experience in leadership and has contributed to the application of simulation-based education modalities for education, assessment and systems integration of healthcare professionals, students, and teams.  Krista is the Director of Simulation for the St. Catherine University Henrietta Schmoll School of Health.  This program is dedicated on creating an IPE Simulation program that will involve 28 Nursing and Health Sciences programs. As a CHSE-A, she has experience developing curricula, teaching, and presenting on the use of simulation as well as specific applications. Krista has participated in evaluating conference course proposal review, research posters, and presentations at IMSH since 2011.  In 2019, she was an IMSH planning co-chair and has been actively involved with the SSH/INACSL/ASPE Simulation Best Standards Workshop in various leadership roles.
