About Kimberly Ferreira

Kim Ferreira is the PT Department Chair, DPT Program Director at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. She joined the faculty in June 2006 as the Director of Clinical Education and became the PT Department Chair and DPT Program Director in 2013.
Dr. Ferreira graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997 and a Masters of Physical Therapy in 1998 from Andrews University, as well as a PhD from Nova Southeastern University in 2015. Her research is focused on education, women's health and physical activity. She has presented nationally on Cultural Diversity in a Physical Therapy Program, Clinical Education, and Women's Health. She is a member of the APTA, and the Education sections and is also involved in the state and local Academic Administrators consortia.
