About Kimberly J. Baker

Dr. Baker received her doctoral degree from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine in 2004. She then entered into a post-doctoral research position at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler, where she later began teaching in their Masters of Biotechnology program.

Dr. Baker teaches biochemistry, genetics, cell and molecular biology in both the DO and biomedical sciences programs.

In addition to classroom instruction, Dr. Baker has also trained both masters and DO students in her research laboratory.
