About Khalid Hanafy

As Director of Research at the Marcus Neuroscience Institute (MNI), Dr. Hanafy has labs at both the FAU-COM and the MNI, where they are conducting state-of-the-art, cutting edge research to bring the latest treatments to patients. His work is currently funded by the NIH, AHA, and MIT. Dr. Hanafy has authored over 40 articles, book chapters, and invited editorials in the Journal of Neurosurgery, the New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of Clinical InvestigationStroke, and others.
