About Kelsey Hall

Kelsey’s interest in Ohio's Standardbred harness racing industry and journalism led to a career in agricultural communications. As the managing editor for BLF Management, an association management company, she wrote and edited content for 6 serial quarterly publications, 6 bi-monthly e-newsletters and websites from 2004-2006. Previously, she worked as the communications intern for the Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association and OFA-an association of floriculture professionals from 2001-2003. As a consultant for the publicity department of the Franklin County Fairboard, she helped create the 2003 fair campaign, organizing the media day, and writing press releases and public service announcements for local radio and television. Kelsey also served as the editor of Buckeye Bound, a publication of The Lantern in 2003. This experience allowed her to assign stories and photos, write headlines, edit stories, and design the 48-page magazine that was sent to all incoming freshmen and transfer students. Kelsey enjoys cooking, hiking, fishing, gardening, sewing and traveling.
