About Kelly C Smith

Kelly Smith is currently an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Biological Sciences at Clemson University as well as a C. Calhoun Lemon Fellow with Clemson’s Rutland Institute for Ethics. He is also a faculty member at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Greenville, where he coordinates the ethics curriculum. His ranges widely: from the relationship between religious faith and scientific reasoning to teaching and assessing critical thinking skills to the nature of life and its extraterrestrial possibilities. He has been a consultant for NASA, published in a wide array of professional journals, and appeared on CNN.
