About Karen Liller

My research focuses on the prevention and control of unintentional injuries in children. For over two decades I have researched not only the causes of these injuries but have developed and evaluated prevention programs in schools and communities. I have published extensively in the injury prevention, health promotion, and public health literature and edit the text, "Injury Prevention for Children and Adolescents: Research, Practice, and Advocacy.
I am Dean of the Graduate School and Associate Vice President of Research and Innovation at the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida. I have degrees in medical technology, education, and curriculum and instruction with a focus in public health.
