Dr. Juvancic-Heltzel is an associate professor in the Exercise Science department at The University of Akron. Her research efforts are focused on behavior modification and how to empower individuals to take control of their personal health and wellness. She also has over 30 years clinical experience as a registered medical technologist and managed a cardiac rehabilitation program and is a Certified Exercise Physiologist. Additionally, she mentors interprofessional students with numerous ongoing community wellness programs.
