Jonathan Wilson ​is a native from East Tennessee. ​A first generation and transfer student, he graduated ETSU with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. He received ​his Master’s in Information Sciences (MLIS) ​degree from the University of Tennessee. Prior to being the Distance/Online Education Librarian Coordinator at Sherrod Library​, he worked in the Wayne G. Basler Library at Northeast State Community College. ​He is passionate about advocating for students and providing them with the appropriate resources they need to succeed in academia ​and life. ​Jonathan is an avid gardener who cans and donates most of the harvest.  He also enjoys camping and hiking along the Blueridge Mountains.
