About Jon M. Garon

Jon M. Garon is Professor of Law and Director of the Intellectual Property, Cybersecurity, and Technology Law program at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, teaching Constitutional Law, Contracts, Privacy Law, Entertainment Law, and many other courses. He is a nationally recognized authority on entertainment law, copyright, information privacy, technology regulation, and free speech. He has published over 50 books, book chapters, and academic articles, and he has presented at more than 200 programs. A Minnesota native, he received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and his juris doctor degree from Columbia University School of Law.

Professor Garon's forthcoming books include Law Professor's Desk Reference (Carolina Academic Press); Intellectual Property Law and Practice: A Contemporary Approach (West Academic); and Parenting for the Digital Generation - The Parent's Guide to Digital Education and the Online Environment (Roman & Littlefield).
