About Joe Champion

Dr. Joe Champion joined the faculty of the Department of Mathematics at Boise State University in 2013. Before coming to Boise State, Dr. Champion taught at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. His Ph.D. in Educational Mathematics is from the University of Northern Colorado, and he also has both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mathematics from the University of North Dakota. His research interests are in academic performance, persistence, and self-efficacy in mathematics, mathematics content knowledge of preservice and inservice teachers, and the design and development of web-based mathematics instruction.
