About Jilian Sansbury, MD, FACP

Dr. Jilian Sansbury is a hometown native of Myrtle Beach, born at Grand Strand Hospital! She graduated from the University of South Carolina Honors College in Columbia, SC with Honors. She is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Charleston, SC. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and then returned to Grand Strand for her Chief Residency in 2015-2016. She has special interests in medical simulation, point-of-care ultrasound education, safety and quality initiatives, and palliative and geriatric care. She lives in Myrtle Beach with her husband, Robert, their two sons, Rhett and Reid, along with their two dogs Macaroni (a Boston Terrier) and Booker (a Yellow Labrador).
