About Jihyun Lee

Dr. Jihyun Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at San Jose State University. Dr. Lee earned her B.S in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Education and an M.S in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from Seoul National University, South Korea. Dr. Lee also has a doctorate in Physical Education Teacher Education with a concentration in Adapted Physical Activity/Education from Ohio State University. Her research interests includes Adapted Physical Activity/Education and Motor Development. Specifically, her research investigates the effect of physical activities on behavioral changes in children with Autism spectrum disorder. Dr. Lee is involved in community-based adapted physical activity programs and motor development programs. Her published articles are aimed to understand the complex interactions of multiple variables of children to assist them and their families in increasing their quality of life through physical activity.
