About Jeff DeWitt

Jeff DeWitt is a Professor of Political Science in the School of Government and International Affairs at Kennesaw State University, where his primary field of study is American political behavior with research interests in electoral politics, political communication, and public opinion. He recently co-authored an article titled “We Fight Like Hell”: Applying Brandenburg to Trump’s Speech Surrounding the U.S. Capitol Siege” and co-edited The Republican Resistance: #NeverTrump Conservatives and the Future of the GOP (Lexington Press) and has published in various academic journals. In addition to teaching courses in American Government, Mass Media and Politics, Research Methods, and Senior Seminar, Dr. DeWitt is coordinator for certificate programs in both professional politics and political communication.
