Dr. Javed Mohammed is a pediatrician specializing in dermatology with a research focus on skin diseases and conditions in children, especially those concerning hemangiomas and other vascular anomalies.

Dr. Mohammed has a secondary interest in tufted angiomas, and how they and other vascular-related skin conditions present in clinic.


Dr. Mohammed is a paediatrician specializing in dermatology. Dr. Mohammed completed Medical School and his paediatric residency at Western University. This was followed by a 2-year fellowship in Paediatric Dermatology at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University. Dr. Mohammed has a special interest in paediatric vascular lesions. He is currently the Medical Director of the Vascular Anomalies clinic, Children's Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre, which is a multidisciplinary clinic devoted to the care of infants with hemangiomas and other complex vascular tumours and malformations. He has published papers in the areas of infantile hemangiomas and thermography, as well as tufted angiomas and their clinical presentation in infants.
