Jason von Ehrenkrook’s research broadly focuses on Jews and Christians in Roman antiquity, with a particular interest in the messy boundaries of religious identity in the Mediterranean world. He comes to UMass Boston from the University of Pittsburgh, where he taught numerous courses covering ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern religions, Biblical Studies, and Religion and Film, among other related topics.
